Family Owned and Operated for Over 120 Years
The story begins when the Beckman family moved from Ottoville to Ottawa. At that time Catherine Beckman, the proprieter of the Beckman Hotel, did business in the building neighboring today's jewelry store. That store began when Catherine's son, Alexander, "presented to the business interests of this town, one her most enterprising and reputable concerns" - accordong to the 1895 Atlas of Putnam County.
Alexander Beckman's descendents have contributed to the longevity of his venture. In fact the business now marks its fourth generation under the present owners and brothers, Stanley and Bernard Beckman. They follow their greatgrandfather Alexander, grandfather Stanley, and their parents, James and Jean Beckman.

Tuesday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 am- 3:00 pm
